This page explains what we collect when you use operator.tailwebs.com, why we collect it, where it is kept, who can see it, and how to have it deleted. It is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
Tailwebs Operator is built by Tailwebs Technology Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, India. For anything on this page, write to [email protected].
What we collect
The appointment form. Your name, work email, phone number and company name, the note about where your work gets stuck if you write one, and the plan you chose if you chose one. If you booked from inside a sandbox, we also note which sample business you opened, how many questions you asked and which of its skills were used.
The sandbox. The work email you enter to open it. For every question you ask a sample business, we keep the question, the answer, that email address, which sample business it was, and how long the answer took. The sample businesses hold made-up data only, so please do not type real personal or business details into a question.
Where you came from. If the link that brought you carried campaign tags (utm_source and utm_campaign), we store those two values with either form.
Why we collect it
- To arrange and hold the appointment you asked for, and to reply to you.
- To give you access to the sandbox, and to follow up with you about Operator after you have used it.
- To see which questions the sandbox answers well or badly, so we can improve it.
We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for anything other than the above.
Where it is stored, and who sees it
- Form details and sandbox questions are written to Google Sheets that belong to Tailwebs. Only the Tailwebs team who handle appointments and the sandbox can open them.
- When you book an appointment, a notification email with your details is sent to our team through Resend, an email delivery service.
- To answer a sandbox question, the question is sent to an AI model provider, which generates the answer from the sample business's made-up files.
- The site is hosted on Netlify and served through Cloudflare, which process standard web request data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, and only after you press Accept on the bar at the bottom of the page. If you press Decline, or do nothing, neither is loaded. Whatever you choose is remembered in your browser, so you are not asked on every visit.
The analytics events we send never contain your email, your questions or the answers. Everything you type into the forms and the sandbox is masked from Clarity's session recordings.
reCAPTCHA
The sandbox is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a person, not a program, is opening it. It is loaded when you reach the sandbox section. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as they are useful for arranging and following up on your appointment or your use of the sandbox. We delete them when you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] from the email address you used, and we will confirm once it is done. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
